This patient is a 41 year female diagnosed with left breast cancer who underwent a bilateral mastectomy and immediate bilateral reconstruction. The reconstruction was performed in stages. At the time of the mastectomy the first stage was performed where an immediate bilateral reconstruction was performed with bilateral saline tissue expanders and placement of bilateral Stratice acellular dermal matrix grafts. The patient then had a second outpatient procedure where the saline tissue expanders were removed and replaced with bilateral 550cc moderate plus profile smooth round silicone gel implants as well as lipografting (fat grafting) for a total 400cc of lipograft to the bilateral breasts and surrounding bilateral chest wall. The patient underwent a third minor procedure where an additional 71 cc was lipografted to the bilateral breasts. The patient is shown 3 years after here surgery.
